“Whether it be good, or whether it be evil, we will obey the voice of YAHUAH ELOHAYNU, to whom we send you; that it may be well with us, when we obey the voice of YAHUAH ELOHAYNU. YIRMEYAHU (JEREMIAH) 42:6 את Cepher Publishing Group.

“‘I beseech you, my son, look upon the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein, and consider that ELOHIYM made them of things that were not; and so was mankind made likewise. ‘Fear not this tormentor, but, being worthy of your brethren, take your death that I may receive you again in mercy with your brethren. ‘While she was yet speaking these words, the young man said, Whom wait ye for? I will not obey the king’s commandment: but I will obey the commandment of the Torah that was given unto our fathers by Mosheh. ‘And you, that have been the author of all mischief against the Ivriym, shall not escape the hands of ELOHIYM. ‘For we suffer because of our sins. ‘And though the living YAHUAH be angry with us a little while for our chastening and correction, yet shall he be at one again with his servants.”  MAKKABIYM SHENIY (2 MACCABEES) 7:28-33 את Cepher Publishing Group.

Do you take stock of your blessings, how about your birthrights?

It’s very important that we learn from our ancestral past so that we don’t repeat their mistakes. Abba Ya’oh chose us and indeed wants to make us his chosen nation again. The following is the start às to who we are.

“And YAHUAH said unto her, Two nations are in your womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from your generation; and the one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger. And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb. And the first came out red, all over like a hairy garment; and they called his name Esau. And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called Ya`aqov: and Yitschaq was threescore years old when she bore them. And the boys grew: and Esau was a cunning hunter, a man of the field; and Ya`aqov was an upright man, dwelling in tents. And Yitschaq loved את eth-Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rivqah loved את eth-Ya`aqov.  BERE’SHIYTH (GENESIS) 25:23-28 את Cepher Publishing Group.

Often when we review these verses we may think Abra(ha)m, or perhaps his son, Yitschaq as the only ones that blessed us. That is not the case. Let us look up the 25th Chapter of Jubilees to see who actually blessed our forefather Jacob whose name was changed to Yisrael | Ya’ohsharal.

“I swear before you, mother, that all the days of my life I will not take me a woman from the daughters of the seed of Kena`an, and I will not act wickedly as my brother has done. Fear not, mother; be assured that I shall do your will and walk in uprightness, and not corrupt my ways forever.’ And thereupon she lifted up her face to heaven and extended the fingers of her hands, and opened her mouth and blessed EL ELYON, who had created the heavens and the earth, and she gave him thanks and praise. And she said: Blessed be YAHUAH ELOHIYM, and may his holy name be blessed forever and ever, who has given me Ya`aqov as a pure son and a holy seed; for he is yours, and yours shall his seed be continually and throughout all the generations forevermore. Bless him, O YAHUAH, and place in my mouth the blessing of righteousness, that I may bless him.’ And at that hour, when the RUACH TSEDAQAH descended into her mouth, she placed both her hands on the head of Ya`aqov, and said:  YOVHELIYM (JUBILEES) 25:9-14 את Cepher Publishing Group.

Blessed are you, YAHUAH of righteousness and ELOHIYM of the ages and may he bless you beyond all the generations of men. May he give you, my son, the path of righteousness, and reveal righteousness to your seed. And may he make your sons many during your life, and may they arise according to the number of the months of the year. And may their sons become many and great beyond the stars of heaven, and their numbers be more than the sand of the sea. And may he give them this goodly land as he said he would give it to Avraham and to his seed after him always. And may they hold it as a possession forever. And may I see born unto you, my son, blessed children during my life, and a blessed and holy seed may all your seed be. And as you have refreshed your mother’s ruach during her life, the womb of her that bore you blesses you thus, my affection and my breasts bless you and my mouth and my tongue praise you greatly. Increase and spread over the earth, and may your seed be perfect in the joy of heaven and earth forever; And may your seed rejoice, and on the great day of peace may it have peace. And may your name and your seed endure to all the ages, and may EL ELYON be their ELOHIYM, and may the ELOHIYM of righteousness tabernacle with them, and by them may his sanctuary be built unto all the ages. Blessed be he that blesses you, and all flesh that curses you falsely, may it be cursed.’ And she kissed him, and said to him: May YAHUAH of the world love you as the heart of your mother and her affection rejoice in you and bless you. And she ceased from blessing.” YOVHELIYM (JUBILEES) 25:15-23 את Cepher Publishing Group.

The book of Jubilees Chapter 26 goes deeper into the account between Esau and his twin brother Jacob.

AND in the seventh year of this week Yitschaq called Esau, his elder son, and said unto him: ‘I am old, my son, and behold my eyes are dim in seeing, and I know not the day of my death. And now take your hunting weapons your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field, and hunt and catch me venison, my son, and make me savoury meat, such as my soul loves, and bring it to me that I may eat, and that my soul may bless you before I die.‘ But Rivqah heard Yitschaq speaking to Esau.  YOVHELIYM (JUBILEES) 26:1-3 את Cepher Publishing Group.

“And Rivqah called Ya`aqov, her son, and said unto him: Behold, I heard Yitschaq, your father, speak unto Esau, your brother, saying: Hunt for me, and make me savoury meat, and bring it to me that I may eat and bless you before YAHUAH before I die. And now, my son, obey my voice in that which I command you: Go to your flock and fetch me two good kids of the goats, and I will make them savoury meat for your father, such as he loves, and you shall bring it to your father that he may eat and bless you before YAHUAH before he die, and that you may be blessed.’  YOVHELIYM (JUBILEES) 26:5-6 את Cepher Publishing Group.

“And Rivqah, his mother, said unto him: ‘Upon me be your curse, my son, only obey my voice.’ And Ya`aqov obeyed the voice of Rivqah, his mother, and went and fetched two good and fat kids of the goats, and brought them to his mother, and his mother made them savoury meat such as he loved. And Rivqah took the goodly raiment of Esau, her elder son, which was with her in the house, and she clothed Ya`aqov, her younger son, with them, and she put the skins of the kids upon his hands and on the exposed parts of his neck. And she gave the meat and the bread which she had prepared into the hand of her son Ya`aqov. And Ya`aqov went in to his father and said: I am your son: I have done according as you bade me: arise and sit and eat of that which I have caught, father, that your soul, may bless me. And Yitschaq said to his son: How have you found so quickly, my son?  YOVHELIYM (JUBILEES) 26:9-14 את Cepher Publishing Group.

“And Ya`aqov said: Because YAHUAH ELOHAYKA caused me to find. And Yitschaq said unto him: Come near, that I may feel you, my son, if you are my son Esau or not. And Ya`aqov went near to Yitschaq, his father, and he felt him and said: The voice is Ya`aqov’s voice, but the hands are the hands of Esau, and he discerned him not, because it was a dispensation from heaven to remove his power of perception and Yitschaq discerned not, for his hands were hairy as his brother Esau’s, so that he blessed him. And he said: Are you my son Esau? And he said: I am your son: and he said: Bring near to me that I may eat of that which you have caught, my son, that my soul may bless you. And he brought near to him, and he did eat, and he brought him wine and he drank.”  YOVHELIYM (JUBILEES) 26:15-20 את Cepher Publishing Group.

And Yitschaq, his father, said unto him: ‘Come near and kiss me, my son. And he came near and kissed him. And he smelled the smell of his raiment, and he blessed him and said: ‘Behold, the smell of my son is as the smell of a full field which YAHUAH has blessed. And may YAHUAH give you of the dew of heaven and of the dew of the earth, and plenty of grain and oil: let nations serve you, and peoples bow down to you. Be lord over your brethren, and let your mother’s sons bow down to you; and may all the blessings wherewith YAHUAH has blessed me and blessed Avraham, my father; be imparted to you and to your seed forever: cursed be he that curses you, and blessed be he that blesses you.‘ And it came to pass as soon as Yitschaq had made an end of blessing his son Ya`aqov, and Ya`aqov had gone forth from Yitschaq his father he hid himself and Esau, his brother, came in from his hunting.”  YOVHELIYM (JUBILEES) 26:21-25 את Cepher Publishing Group.

“And it came to pass when Esau heard the words of his father Yitschaq that he cried with an exceeding great and bitter cry, and said unto his father: ‘Bless me, even me also, father.’ And he said unto him: Your brother came with guile, and has taken away your blessing. And he said: Now I know why his name is named Ya`aqov: behold, he has supplanted me these two times: he took away my birthright, and now he has taken away my blessing. And he said: ‘Have you not reserved a blessing for me, father?’ and Yitschaq answered and said unto Esau: ‘Behold, I have made him your lord, and all his brethren have I given to him for servants, and with plenty of grain and wine and oil have I strengthened him: And what now shall I do for you, my son?’ And Esau said to Yitschaq, his father: ‘Have you but one blessing, O father? Bless me, even me also, father: ‘ And Esau lifted up his voice and wept. And Yitschaq answered and said unto him: ‘Behold, far from the dew of the earth shall be your dwelling, and far from the dew of heaven from above. And by your sword will you live, and you will serve your brother. And it shall come to pass when you become great, and do shake his yoke from off your neck, you shall sin a complete sin unto death, and your seed shall be rooted out from under heaven.’  YOVHELIYM (JUBILEES) 26:29-34 את Cepher Publishing Group.

Always remember we have a Covenant relationship with Abba Ya’oh.

“And Ya`aqov vowed a vow unto YAHUAH, saying: If YAHUAH will be with me, and will guard me in this way that I go, and give me bread to eat and raiment to put on, so that I come again to my father’s house in peace, then shall YAHUAH be my ELOHIYM, and this stone which I have set up as a pillar for a sign in this place, shall be YAHUAH’S house, and of all that you give me, I shall give the tenth to you, my ELOHIYM. Just like Ya’ohshai, son of Nun, warned our ancestors we must not worship idols!

“Now therefore fear 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 | Ya’oh, and serve Him in sincerity and emet: and put away the elohim which your ahvot served on the other side of the River Euphrates, and in Mitzrayim; and serve 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 | Ya’oh. (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏  | Ya’ohshai) 24:14. This quotation is from Restoration True Name Edition written with Paleo Hebrew fonts along with the English pronunciation of our Heavenly Father’s Holy Name.

“Now therefore fear את eth- YAHUAH, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away את eth-the elohiym which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Mitsrayim; and serve ye את eth-YAHUAH. And if it seem evil unto you to serve את eth- YAHUAH, choose you את eth-this day whom ye will serve; whether את eth-the elohai which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or את eth-the elohai of the Emoriym, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve את eth-YAHUAH. And the people answered and said, Far be it that we should forsake את eth- YAHUAH, to serve other elohiym; For YAHUAH ELOHAYNU, he it is that brought us up את eth-and our fathers out of the land of Mitsrayim, from the house of bondage, and which did את eth-those great signs in our sight, and did guard us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed: And YAHUAH drove out from before us את eth-all the people, even את eth-the Emoriym which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve את eth-YAHUAH; for he is our ELOHIYM. And Yahusha said unto the people, Ye cannot serve את eth- YAHUAH: for he is a holy ELOHIYM; he is a jealous EL; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.”  YAHUSHA (JOSHUA) 24:14-19 את Cepher Publishing Group.
