Many link two separate events into one when it comes to this very special birth. But what do the scriptures actually say? Shouldn’t we be able to determine by reading the Bible what Abba Ya’oh did? Mathath-Ya’oh | Matthew Chapter 1 covers the announcement to Yoseph of Ya’ohshai’s future birth, and Chapter 2 covers his young life when he was about 2 years old.
“Now the birth of YAHUSHA HA’MASHIACH was on this wise: When as his mother Miryam was espoused to Yoceph, before they came together, she was found with child of the RUACH HA’QODESH. Then Yoceph her man, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of YAHUAH appeared unto him in a dream saying Yoceph, son of David, fear not to take unto you את eth Miryam your woman: for that which is conceived in her is of the RUACH HA’QODESH. And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name YAHUSHA: for he shall save his people from their sins. Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of YAHUAH by the prophet, saying, Behold! a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call the name of the same Immanu’el, which being interpreted is: our EL is with me.” Mathath-Ya’oh|MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 1:18-23 את Cepher Publishing Group.
Some are of the opinion that Yoseph was the biological father of Ya’ohshai but that is not true! Ya’oh, through The Holy Spirit, miraclously transferred the life of his only-begotten son into the virgin Miriam!
“Then Yoceph being raised from sleep did as the angel of YAHUAH had bidden him, and took unto him his woman: And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name YAHUSHA.” Mathath-Ya’oh |MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 1:24-25 את Cepher Publishing Group.
Chapter 2 goes into further detail of this historic event giving the location of the young child, his birth place, as well as the ordeal with King Herod who sought Ya’ohshai’s life to destroy him, thereby preserving his power as King.
“NOW when YAHUSHA was born in Beyt Lechem of Yahud in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came Magi from the east to Yerushalayim, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Yahudiym? for we have seen his star rising in the east, and are come to worship him. When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Yerushalayim with him. And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where MASHIACH should be born. And they said unto him, In Beyt Lechem of Yahud: for thus it is written by the prophet, And you Beyt Lechem, in the land of Yahudah, are not the least among the princes of Yahudah: for out of you shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Yashar’el” MathathYa’oh|MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 2:1-6 את Cepher Publishing Group.
“Then Herod, when he had privily called the Magi, inquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. And he sent them to Beyt Lechem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw rising in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Miryam his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. And being warned of EL in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.” Mathath-Ya’oh| MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 2:7-12 את Cepher Publishing Group.
“And when they were departed, behold, the angel of YAHUAH appeared to Yoceph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Mitsrayim, and be there until I bring you word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Mitsrayim: And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of YAHUAH by the prophet, saying, Out of Mitsrayim have I called my Son.” Mathath-Ya’oh| MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 2:13-15 את Cepher Publishing Group.
We can see from these verses just how intent King Herod wanted to kill our savior, even wiping out all the male children two years old and younger!
“Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the Magi, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Beyt Lechem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the Magi. Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Yirmeyahu the prophet saying, In Ramah was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.” MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 2:16-18 את Cepher Publishing Group.
The birth of Ya’ohshai is an entirely different event that occurred when shepherds were tending their flocks.
The Apostle Luke covers this event in Chapter 2.
“And Yoceph also went up from Galiyl, out of the city of Natsareth, into Yahud, unto the city of David, which is called Beyt Lechem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Miryam his espoused woman, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a cukkah; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of YAH came upon them, and the glory of YAHUAH shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.” LUQAS (LUKE) 2:4-9 את Cepher Publishing Group.
“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good news of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David the Saviour, which is YAHUAH the MASHIACH. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a cukkah. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising YAH, and saying, Glory to YAHUAH in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Beyt Lechem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which YAHUAH has made known unto us.” LUQAS (LUKE) 2:10-15 את Cepher Publishing Group.
“And they came with haste, and found Miryam, and Yoceph, and the babe lying in a cukkah. And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds. But Miryam kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising YAH for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them. And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called YAHUSHA, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.” LUQAS (LUKE) 2:16-21 את Cepher Publishing Group….his name was called 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 | Ya’ohshai, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.
Examining these events helps us to understand the truth. Ya’oh does not lie and has preserved for us what really took place and when!
We can also learn that Ya’oh holds all of his Feast Days in high esteem. Usually, these events prove his perfect timing.
For instance, Ya’ohshai died on Passover Day, Abib 14th. In all likelihood, his birth would have been around the Feast of Tabernacles as this event marks the fact Ya’ohshai, Son of Ya’oh, dwelt in the flesh and is the Temple of Ya’oh.
We can’t prove his birthdate, it was not recorded for us in scripture, but we can always keep all Ya’oh’s Feast Days including his Shabbaths.
